This natural vintage amethyst (lot 206) is approximately 1.5 cts, Oval 8x6mm faceted gemstone – It is prong set in a .925 sterling silver ring, size 4 3/4

I call it vintage because I made it over 25 years ago. It’s never been worn by anyone – just packed away since 1992 waiting for me to rediscover it.

The stone is nicely cut with fine clarity and evenness of color.

The color of the stone is in my opinion the best for an amethyst – not too dark, not too light – purple with pink/red flashes.
