1st printing D is the same darker orange rust color, but the chin of the lower face is brown. It measures 4 15/16″ x 7 1/4″.

The Card – the photos are of the card being offered, and you can see the front of the card is pretty sharp – it’s clean and bright and the card is stiff and snappy, sharp corners showing very little wear. But it has a 5mm paper lift in the center.
The reverse shows tape residues and paper lift as seen on the photo.

Provenance:
While living in San Francisco from 1966-1968, I collected many Haight-Ashbury concert cards. Most of what I have, however, were sent by Bill Graham in 1968. I had asked him about selling concert posters in my soon-to-open Baltimore bookstore, The Aquarian Age Bookstore. They sent me a postcard from each concert as a poster sample. I decorated my walls and journals with some, while others were stored in a zippered leather binder. Despite my many travels, it’s astonishing that they’re still in such fine condition.
