Blue cloth shows general fading; gilt lettering and cover device dulled on front board. Spine cloth soiled and darkened, with a vertical 6‑inch tear; spine tips bumped all around (see photos).
Deckled edges at fore and bottom.
Binding square and holding well; not tight but with no splits or loosened gatherings.
Pages show very light toning, nearly bright, with no markings observed.
